An update from Millwoods East in response to COVID-19

The health and well-being of your pet continues to be our top priority.  In order to continue to serve you and your pets through this pandemic, we have made changes to clinic policies to protect your health and the health of our animal caregivers. In an effort to ensure our doors stay open and that we continue to be able to provide veterinary care for your pets Millwoods East Veterinary Clinic will continue to operate using our curbside system until such time that all staff have been able to receive their second COVID-19 vaccine. We ask that you continue to wear your mask and sanitize your hands when entering the clinic. 

We are just as anxious to have you back in the clinic as you are to be with your pets during their visit. Thank you for your patience while we work to make our staff is safe and remains healthy.  

Beginning in November 2020, we will once again be implementing curbside appointments for ALL* appointments to limit your time inside our clinic, keeping you, and our staff members safe.

Please call the clinic at 780-461-0629 to let our staff know of your arrival. Please wait in your car for a call back from a Vet Tech or Veterinarian to discuss the details of your pet’s appointment and advise you when it is time to bring your pet inside the building. A staff member will meet you inside and take your pet into the exam room for their exam or tech appointment while you go back to your vehicle and wait for a phone call to discuss exam findings and to advise you that it is time to come back inside to retrieve your pet and take care of your invoice.

For your health, our health and in accordance with current public health measures to help prevent the spread of COVID-19, the following safety measures will be in place:

  1. We ask that only one person per family accompany their pet(s) inside the clinic.
  2. You will be required to wear a mask at all times inside the clinic and to sanitize your hands upon entering. Masks will be provided if you do not have one.
  3. Do not attend the clinic if you have tested positive for COVID-19, have symptoms of COVID-19, are feeling unwell or you have been in contact with someone who has tested positive for COVID-19.  

You will have the opportunity to be a part of your pet’s exam via ZOOM if you prefer.

*ALL appointments include appointments with the veterinarian or tech including nail trims, anal gland expressions and lab work.

We continue to request non-cash payment. 

Traffic in the clinic will be one-way and you will be directed out through an alternate exit.

Please know that we have increased the frequency of clinic cleaning and sanitization, especially all high frequency touch points, to keep us all healthy.

Pet Food and Medication Pick-up

Please continue to order online or call ahead so we can have your order ready. Call us when you arrive if you would like curb-side service. If you feel comfortable coming inside, we would be happy to help you. To allow for social distancing we are permitting 4 people into the waiting area at any given time. Please use the markers on the floor to maintain social distancing and follow the one way arrows.
