Payment Policy & Options

At Millwoods East Veterinary Clinic, our goal is to provide the highest quality veterinary care while maintaining transparency and fairness in our billing practices. To ensure we can continue delivering exceptional care to your pets, we have established the following payment policy:

Payment Policy

  • Payment is required at the time services are rendered. This includes routine visits, diagnostics, treatments, and emergency care.
  • If your pet requires a procedure or treatment that you are not financially prepared for, we are pleased to offer a flexible payment solution through Scratch Pay (details below).
  • We provide treatment estimates (after examination with one of veterinarians) and strongly encourage all clients to discuss expected costs in advance.

Accepted Payment Methods

To accommodate your financial preferences, we accept a variety of payment options:

  • Mastercard
  • Visa
  • Interac (Debit)
  • American Express
  • E-Transfer (please send e-transfer to millwoodseastvet@shaw.ca)
  • Cash

Pet Insurance Reimbursement

Please let us know if your pet is insured with Trupanion; if they are we are happy to direct bill while you wait. Currently, we are unable to bill other pet insurance providers directly, but we are happy to assist with the documentation needed for reimbursement. Clients are responsible for payment at the time of service and can submit claims to their insurance provider afterward.
